Have you checked out the After Christmas sales in your area yet? Although the crowds can still be just as big and maddening, there are several reasons to take on the throngs and get back out there. End-of-the-year sales are a great way to get a head start on the 2013 holiday season, which we all know will be upon us before we know it!
Here are a few items you should consider buying to prepare for next year:
Wrapping paper, ribbon and other gift wrapping supplies will be marked down 50-75% off. Obviously, stores want to get rid of its Christmas items and make room for the next big holiday (Valentine’s Day I guess). Now is the time to stock up and save big!

Christmas tree ornaments, cookie cutters and holiday house decor will also be drastically reduced! Why pay full price next December when you can get the same stuff at cut-rate prices?
Stock up on extra winter items like socks, hats, gloves, sweaters and coats. It’s slim pickings but there are still plenty of items left to buy. Go ahead and take advantage of those bargains!
Earn your bragging rights by starting your 2013 Christmas and Chanukah shopping a year early! It’s never too early, right?
And last but not least, take the plunge and finally start the Christmas savings account that you can been procrastinating about for years! Just think….If you save just $50 per month for 12 months, you’ll have $600 big ones for 2013 holiday shopping.
